Baic is the Extension BlogCal-J1.5 Module - we modified the module and added a component to make it suitable for our needs.
Main Modifications:
Events can be a period of time or a single Date (taken from Content "Start" and "End" publishing Date) and are visible as "Event" in the calendar.
There can be multiple events( articles) with the same date.
If you click in the calendar a date you can see all events/articles which are valid (and not expired) at this date.
The active Events/Articles are listed in BLOG-Layout.
There is a separate component to install for the Event-Listing.
Install Component, intall Module, define a single section in the module (or all sections) and that`s it.
You should now define articles for the specific section and give them a guilty Start and End publishing value.
