Seber User Purge
The Seber User Purge Component allows a site administrator to purge out old invalid user data.
The component checks for user accounts that have registered with the site but have never logged in.
Joomla is a target for hackers who try to create false user accounts. Currently a large number of attacks include the mail.ru domain name as part of the false email address.
The component will remove any user account that has not succesfully registered that is older than 7 days. In most cases this will not affect real users who are trying to sign up to the web site.
After installing the component select it from the Components menu. It will display the number of users it will remove and then ask for confirmation before removal.
