Kunena Quick Icon

This module displays a KN Icon on Joomla! backend Control Panel next to the Joomla Quickicons like "Global Configuration" or "Article Manager". KN Quickicon is a short link to your Kunena component Control Panel in Joomla Backend.
If you have set "Review Posts" in the KN Configuration (Kunena-Forum/Forum Administration/Forumname) to "yes" and there are existing pending approvals, this icon will display an info-button (changed icon) and the number of pending approvals.
Installation

• Install this module with the Joomla Backend Installation Routine


• navigate to Extensions/Modulemanager


• here click ADMINISTRATOR!


• edit the "Kunena Quickicon" module


• in Editmode choose "icon" as moduleposition (Details->Position->icons)


• enable the module


• click on save


• Now you should change the Order of this module. Move the "Kunena Quickicon" module below the module "Quick-Icons"


• save this order


• Finally click on Side/ Control Panel and you should see this KN Icon at the last position after all other Joomla Quickicons.

This module was inspired by the "AlphaUserPoints Icon Module" from Bernard Gilly (Alphaplug.com) which is integrated in http://www.alphaplug.com/index.php/alphauserpoints.html" target="_blank">Alpha User Points.
