This extension provides a photography gallery solution for Joomla! It provides many high-end features that will be described in detail throughout this document.
It is important to understand how the gallery works in order to make the most of its many features.
Features
* There are 3 tiers. Each tier can have its own metadata information.
o Category
o Gallery
o Picture
* There are 4 tiers of image sizes. All of them except the original are created automatically:
o Original
o Large
o Medium
o Thumbnail
* Flash uploader allows the uploading of multiple images at once
* Saves image metadata. This includes:
o Current name
o Aperture
o Credit
o Camera
o Make
o Caption
o Time taken
o Copyright
o Focal Length
o ISO
o Shutter
* Breadcrumb support is available
* Create menu items for all levels (All categories, Category, Gallery and Image)
* Joomla SEF, sh404SEF and AdvancedSEF are supported
* Tracks all hits/views on categories/galleries/images
* Easily change the following options, including:
o Define upload folder path
o Default access level for images
o Width and height of all image sizes
o Show category and gallery name in URL (sh404SEF only)
o Easily change how each view displays in the front-end. Options include:
+ Number of items per row before a new row starts
+ Order items by menu order, name, and date/time in ascending or descending order
+ Number of items to show per page
+ Size of image in gallery view
+ Size of image in image view
+ Display image information

* Edit CSS file from the back-end
* Plugin system, allows a developer to easily create a new view for a gallery. This can be set on a per gallery basis
o Two of them come preinstalled and can be changed when editing a gallery
