jSeblod Subcategories Patch for Joomla 1.5
Add subcategories/multi-categories to Content Manager, Contact Manager, Manager RSS and Link Manager. New menu link: Blog Catalog and List Catalog.
Modify Category Blog and List... Enable or disable multiple categories in one click in component administration.
Modify twenty core files of Joomla but no change in database Joomla (no fear on your data). Thanks to Omar Ramos.
This patch is made as a component released under GPL and license-free. You can with one click enable or disable multiple categories. If you do not change the core of Joomla, there is no risk and you can go back whenever you want.
This component provides the management for multi-categories to:
* Manager of articles (com_content)
* The contact manager (com_contact)
* Manager RSS (com_newsfeeds)
* The link manager (com_weblinks)
We have added some kind of link in the menu management links to articles, to manage the navigation in a catalog:
* "Blog Catalog", displays the sub categories as catalog level by level, and articles blog
* "Catalog List" displays the subcategories as a catalog, and items in list
We have also amended the existing menu links:
* "Category Blog" displays the subcategories list as a level by level above the items shown in blog
* "Category List" displays the subcategories list as a level by level over the items list
* "Section Layout" shows the top level categories as a list then sub categories
Was also added several configuration settings menu links as possible whether to display the edit icon on the site.
