Custom Game Page Suite
Have you ever wanted more control over the appearance of the game page?
Well that is what the CGPS gives you it includes these plugins CGP Custom Content, CGP Extra CC, CGP Folder Info, CGP Game Edit, CGP Game Info, CGP Meta Tags, CGP Preloader, CGP Scoreboard, CGP Stats Block, and CGP Tag Cloud. With the CGPS you can finally set the game page up to display exactly what and how you want it to. The concept behind CGPS is a simple one, allow control of the game page without the need to hack the PUA core and that's exactly what it does!
All the plugins allow you to set where your info will appear, as well as, how the plugin will render itself on the game page by setting div class and/or style unless otherwise noted in the description.
The CGP Custom Content and CGP Extra CC plugins enable you to add custom content to the game page of PU Arcade. Each plugin (6 total, 5 in CGP Extra CC) provides one custom content area.
The CGP Folder and Game Info plugins for PU Arcade will display folder or game information on the game page. You have full control over how the information will appear on the game page and can choose to display the information above or below the flash game.
The CGP Game Edit plugin for PU Arcade will allow you to make quick edits of your games from the game page. You can set minimum access for managers, administrators, super admins or only for yourself (default) and they will be able to edit games without having to go to the backend.
The CGP Meta Tags plugin for PU Arcade will allow you to more control over the meta tags of the game pages. The plugin has several Meta Keywords & Meta Description options to choose from.
The CGP Preloader finally gives us a method to earn revenue from our arcades without hacking PUA or using up valuable space on our game pages. This CGP plugin is a game preloader, it allows you to add either custom HTML, JS (Google Adsense) or even Joomla modules as content to display before the game loads.
The CGP Scoreboard, Stats Block, and Tagcloud are basically the same as the ones included with PUA but let you place them where you want. To use the CGP Soreboard, Stats, and Tagcloud instead of the ones provided with PUA just disable the included ones from the PUA backend settings and enable these. They use the settings from PUA, so setting number of scores to show in the PUA settings changes how many scores will be shown in the CGP plugin etc.
With the CGPS plugins you only need to install the plugins you intend to use and each plugin is 100% independent of the others, so there is no need to install plugins you don't intend to use.
Native versions of the CGPS plugins are intended for use with the native version of PU Arcade and do not work with PU Arcade 2.3.1 Legacy version.
