Extended Vote Plugin
Standard Joomla plugin "Content Rating" is meanwhile nearly 4 years old and it's not been further developed since then.
It was time for a general overhaul and the Extended Vote Plugin is the result. Its basic usage is not different from the standard plugin and it links to the same Joomla rating interface but it offers several enhancements and unique features. Here's a brief overview:
1. Core plugin code migrated to Joomla 1.5 class model
2. Support for template overrides
3. Improved, accessible HTML output
4. Customizable voting controls (via Plugin Parameters)
5. Configurable plugin placement (before or after content)
6. Optional (and still accessible) JavaScript? controlled vote submission (no Ajax)
